I’d like to introduce you to the man behind this aviation community project. His name is Robert Barham, President of Bridgeport Airport Estates, Inc. Bob had a dream of making the land adjacent to the Bridgeport Municipal Airport into a beautiful aviation community. From the very beginning, Bob knew that this would not be an easy task. However, he had his heart set on making an eyesore into something more appealing to the aviation public. He knew this would be unlike any other type of real estate project, yet, he set out on his journey to create a "First" in Texas. Bridgeport Airport Estates, Inc. would be the first subdivision ever in Texas to be attached to a federally funded municipal airport. This venture would require numerous hours, days, weeks and even months to accomplish. It would mean countless hours of contact with TXDOT, FAA, and other government entities. He would also spend an insurmountable amount of time with engineers, surveyors, utility companies, and City officials. After months of research and planning, Bob approached his long time friend and now partner, Dave Graben. Dave, who already resides in his own aviation community that he established some years back, was captivated by Bob’s enthusiasm and plans. So, the two set out to bring a dream to new heights of reality. Bob works tirelessly to keep on top of every aspect of this project to insure that each and every requirement and regulation is met in order to bring this community to life.

Bob is married with 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He has an extensive background in aviation, both flying and maintenance, and owns and operates his own aviation maintenance business, Barham Aviation, Inc., which is located on the airport.

We'd like to introduce you to the Vice President of Bridgeport Airport Estates, Inc., Mr. David S. Graben. This is Dave's second fly-in residential community (he presently resides at the first and it has sold out), so he is pretty knowledgeable as to the desires of families who want to reside in aviation communities. Dave is not only an aviation enthusiast, but an aircraft owner as well. He owns several aircraft including, but not limited to: Waco, Taylorcraft, Osprey, Beech 18, T6, Meyers, Stinson, plus..
Dave is a 31 year, retired American Airlines pilot as well as a 22 year, retired fighter pilot. I'd say you have to enjoy flying quite a bit to spend 22 years in the cockpit as a fighter pilot. He presently is flying a Falcon 10 and working as an FAA designee for all airplanes, from light to multi engine, through B-58P.
He is married and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Dave went in with Bob on this project because he believes it is an excellent opportunity to combine a public airport with a private residential community development that will allow access to a hard surface runway and full facilities for home owners, the first of its kind in Texas.

Geneva is the Administrative Assistant to Bob and Dave. She is pleased that she has had the honor to stand beside the founders of Bridgeport Airport Estates, Inc. She has many responsibilities within the company that are essential to their progress and she handles them efficiently. While her capabilities are unlimited, her daily gratification is to share her enthusiasm about the land that they are developing with others.
